TANJUNGPINANG - Tanjungpinang Police in the Riau Islands arrested a predatory perpetrator against 10 minors with the initials H (34).

H, a construction worker, was arrested at Jalan MT Haryono kilometer 3, Tanjungpinang, Wednesday, December 15.

KBO Satreskrim Polres Tanjungpinang, Superintendent of Police Dua Gayuh Pambudhi Utomo, said that H's arrest began with reports from the families of two victims of indecent acts, the initials DL and TR.

"Both of them became victims at two different crime scenes, namely on Dompak Island and kilometer 8," he said, in Tanjungpinang, Thursday, December 17.

From the results of the interrogation, he said, H admitted that he had committed his actions not only to female victims, but also to male victims at the scene and to different victims. The average age of the victims was 6 to 14 years.

"For the time being, there are seven crime scenes. The victims are seven women and three men," Gayuh said as quoted by Antara. The H mode is to look for underage children who are playing or alone, then take them around using a motorbike, with the lure will give pocket money.

H then took the children to a quiet place, then carried out indecent acts against the victims. Some of the victims were even left at the scene, without being escorted back to their place of origin.

"In this case, the victim's parents were also negligent. Because they did not supervise their children, they could be invited to travel by unknown people," he said.

The police also appealed to parties who had been victims of H's indecent acts, to immediately report to the local police.
