Urged To Apologize For The Video Of Transjakarta Directors Watching The Belly Dance, Gerindra Faction DPRD Member: I Won't Say Name

JAKARTA - Member of Commission B of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Adi Kurnia Setiadi, was urged to apologize for revealing that he had a video of the PT Transjakarta BUMD directors who were in a meeting while watching a belly dance.

This demand was requested by the family of the former President Director of Transjakarta who has now passed away, namely Sardjono Jhonny.

Adi also opened his voice. According to him, an apology cannot be addressed to him. Because, in his view, he did not reveal who the board of directors of Transjakarta he called a meeting while watching the belly dance.

"Regarding my ultimatum and apologies, I think this is absurd because when I talked about the board of directors having a meeting at the cafe, I never spoke specifically about names. Second, I also never shared the video," Adi said when confirmed, Friday, December 17th.

Regarding the threat that the family of the former Director of Transjakarta report to the police if they do not apologize, Adi welcomes him.

Moreover, Adi emphasized that whatever he said in an official forum such as a DPRD member meeting, especially in his confession that the Transjakarta board of directors had a meeting while watching a belly dance, was protected by law as the council's immunity right.

"As a representative of the people, I am protected. I have immunity rights in parliament, there is a supervisory function on the findings of public reports and this is a fact. There is a crisis of trust in TransJakarta because Transjakarta is financed by the public subsidy budget from the APBD," he explained. President Director of PT Transjakarta BUMD Sardjono Jhonny conveyed clarification on the news of the Transjakarta board of directors meeting at a restaurant while watching belly dance.

The meeting while watching the belly dance was previously announced by the Gerindra faction member of the DKI DPRD, Adi Kurnia Setiadi, and was widely discussed on social media. Adi claimed to have a video recording of the meeting.

Spokesman for the family of Sardjono Djhonny, who has now passed away, Tjahyadi explained, the meeting was not a meeting between the directors and operators, but the Transjakarta union two years ago.

Then, Sardjono, who at that time was still serving as TJ's Managing Director, held a meeting at the restaurant to lighten the atmosphere and eliminate the gap between the directors and their employees.

Regarding the presence of belly dance dancers who entertained guests, Tjahyadi said that at first Sardjono did not know about it when he made reservations for the Turkish restaurant in the Kemang area.

"This dancer did not enter more than half a meter from the door where these gentlemen were meeting or discussing the company's vision and mission. It was also seen that he had his back and was not affected by what the dancer was doing. Everyone focused on what was discussed," explained Tjahyadi. .

Furthermore, Tjahyadi said that Sardjono's family urged the video recorder who was present and DKI DPRD member Adi Kurnia who received the video recording to apologize within 2x24 hours for the issue that was being rolled out.

"We also conclude that the person concerned also aims to corner, discredit, even slander and defame our extended family. We suspect the same thing was done by the video maker, who must also be held responsible for his actions," he said.
