BOYOLALI - The Government of Boyolali Regency, Central Java stated that the international standard Kebogiro Stadium, located in Paras Village, Cepogo District, is now ready to be used for football matches.

Head of the Boyolali Regency Youth, Sports and Tourism (Disporapar) Supana said the construction of the Kebogiro Stadium initiated by the previous Boyolali Regent, Seno Samodro, was carried out in stages since 2018 with a budget of around Rp. 53.199 billion.

"The construction of the Kebogiro Cepogo Boyolali Stadium has been completed, and has now been inaugurated by the Regent of Boyolali M Said Hidayat and accompanied by Deputy Regent Wahyu Irawan on Wednesday (15/12) night," Supana said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 16.

Supana said the construction of the Kebogiro Stadium in Paras Cepogo Village began in 2018 with the purchase of land and structuring the area.

Construction of the stadium then continued in 2019 with a football field and stands. The redevelopment will continue in 2020 with fences around the stadium, sidewalks and structuring the stadium environment. Meanwhile, currently, in 2021, three floors of VVIP stands have been built, equipped with videotrons.

"The construction of the Kebogiro Stadium so far has spent a budget of Rp. 53,199,445,719," Supana said.

He said the stadium was equipped with various facilities, including a lobby, hall, heating room and prayer room on the first floor, as well as a coach and team room, officials, panel room, pantry room, medical room and team hall on the second floor.

Kebogiro Stadium is also equipped with facilities for directors' rooms, referees, massage rooms, baths, guard rooms, committee rooms, toilets, stands, mediashoot and commentator rooms.

Meanwhile, Boyolali Regent M Said Hidayat appreciated the construction of the international standard stadium, the pride of the Boyolali community, which started from the dream of the previous Boyolali Regent, Seno Samodro.

"This stadium is magnificent, has a beautiful panorama on the slopes of Mount Merapi and on the strategic Solo-Selo-Borobudur (SSB) tourist route," said Said.
