KSAL Military Diplomacy Strengthens Relations With The Malaysian Navy

JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono carried out military diplomacy to strengthen relations between the Indonesian Navy and the Malaysian Navy.

The military diplomacy carried out by the KSAL by conducting a Working Visit to the Malaysian Navy Headquarters was welcomed by the Commander of the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Reza bin Mohd Sany at the Navy Headquarters, Wisma Defense Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Wednesday, December 15, as quoted by ANTARA in a press release.

The two naval leaders had the opportunity to talk and discuss the longstanding relationship between TLDM and the Indonesian Navy.

Shortly before speaking, Kasal was asked to inspect the Main Honorary Guard.

In his first meeting after the COVID-19 pandemic, several things were discussed, including increasing cooperation in the field of maritime defense, education, as well as joint operations and exercises. The friendly visit was closed by exchanging souvenirs.

In addition, on the same day the KSAL together with Vero Yudo Margono, who was accompanied by KSAL Asintel, Admiral TNI Angkasa Dipua and his wife also visited the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia to stay in touch with the LBBP Ambassador Hermono at Wisma Duta.

The arrival of the KSAL and his entourage was warmly welcomed by Hermono and his wife who was accompanied by the Research Attache and Deputy Head of the Indonesian Representative for Malaysia, Mrs. Rossi Verona, as well as other relevant officials.

During the meeting, the current situation related to various problems in Indonesia's bilateral relations with Malaysia was discussed. The gathering was closed with a meal together and giving each other souvenirs.
