Bribery Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin Immediately Tried At The Palembang Corruption Court

JAKARTA - The bribery of the inactive Musi Banyuasin Regent Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin, Suhandy will soon be tried at the Corruption Court at the Palembang District Court.

This trial will be carried out immediately because Suhandy's file has now been declared complete and the suspect and evidence have been handed over to the public prosecutor's team (JPU).

"Because the filing of the suspect SUH has been completed and the team of prosecutors declared complete, Tuesday, December 14, Phase II was carried out, namely the submission of the suspect and evidence from the Investigation Team to the KPK Prosecutor's Team," said Acting Spokesperson for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Ali Fikri told reporters, Wednesday, December 15.

Furthermore, the detention of Suhandy was continued for the next 20 days until January 2. He was detained at the KPK Rutan, the Red and White Building Branch.

Meanwhile, the KPK Public Prosecutor, Ali said, now has 14 days to submit the case files as well as the indictment to the Corruption Court.

"The trial is planned to be held at the Corruption Court at the Palembang District Court," he said.

Previously reported, Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin as a suspect in the alleged bribery of infrastructure procurement. He was named a suspect along with three other people, namely the Head of PUPR, Musi Banyuasin Regency, Herman Mayori; Head of SDA/PPK Department of PUPR, Musi Banyuasin Regency, Eddi Umari; and Director of PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara Suhandy. He carried out a presumptuous practice by engineering a number of lists including making a list of potential partners who will carry out project work whose budget comes from the APBD-P for Fiscal Year 2021 and provincial financial assistance, including the PUPR Office of Musi Banyuasin Regency.

In addition, it turns out that he has determined the percentage of the fee for each project value with details of 10 percent for him, 3-5 percent for Herman, and 2-3 percent for Eddi and other related parties. As a result of this fraud, the company owned by Suhandy, namely PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara was declared the winner of the four development projects. The project is the rehabilitation of the Ngulak III Irrigation Area (IDPMIP) in Ngulak III Village, Kec. Sanga with a contract value of IDR 2.39 billion; an increase in the DIR Epil irrigation network with a contract value of IDR 4.3 billion; improvement of irrigation network of DIR Muara Teladan with a contract value of Rp. 3.3 billion; normalization of Lake Ulak Ria, Sekayu District with a contract value of Rp. 9.9 billion. Dodi is suspected of receiving a commitment fee of Rp. 2.6 billion from Suhandy. However, when the OTT was carried out, he only received part of the money given through his subordinates, namely Herman and Eddi.
