JAKARTA - Five of the eight suspects were arrested by the Depok Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) for cases of abuse. The perpetrators are known to come from one of the well-known community organizations (ormas). They persecuted one of the project workers related to thugs' rations.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Depok Metro Police AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno explained that five members of this mass organization carried out the persecution in a cafe in the Grand Depok City area, Sukmajaya District, Depok City, on Monday, December 13.

"There are eight perpetrators in total, only five have been arrested and three are still being pursued." Yogen told reporters, Monday, December 13.

Yogen said that this case began with a road concretization project in Grand Depok City. The members of the mass organizations asked for a share of the work on the project. After meeting the victim, the perpetrator asked for money. However, Yogen said, they were upset because the victim only gave cigarettes. There was a beating.

"The victim's abuse was carried out in a cafe. The victim suffered lacerations to his hands and a number of other body parts," explained Yogen.
