JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan opened his voice regarding the Youtube content titled "#dariPendopo" which he just uploaded to his account, Anies Baswedan.
There was an issue that the #dariPendopo content aimed to increase its electability ahead of the 2024 presidential election. However, the former Minister of Education and Culture denied this. Anies admitted that the #dariPendopo content only relates to him as the Governor of DKI.
"This is related to our policy in Jakarta," said Anies when met in the East Jakarta area, Monday, December 13.
Anies explained that the content of #dariPendopo is Anies' story about his experience in leading the capital city through various policies he made, starting from his background, process, to his goals.
"So, #dariPendopo is a story about the policies that we develop, the process, background, objectives, aspects. So, this is complete information. Through this channel, I will tell you about the many policies that were made based on experience while on duty," explained Anies.
Currently, there is only one content #dariPendopo created by Anies entitled "Make Far So Close. #dariPendopo". The video was uploaded on December 11, 2021.
In the show, Anies sat in a wooden pavilion. He told about the inequality between cities in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands Regency.
Then, Anies also admitted that he would create other content related to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program. For example, regarding sidewalk construction, transportation integration, providing social assistance, to handling COVID-19.
Anies views that this content needs to be created as a means of expressing his thoughts which he admits cannot be done directly through press conferences with the media.
"There are many stories behind the process that have not been told yet and cannot be told at the press conference," said Anies,
"That's why I prepared this. This is my way of telling the whole process. So, it is more aimed at telling what has been done, its background, and its purpose," he added.
