Restaurant In Rawabadak, North Jakarta Hit By The Red Warrior, 20 Firefighters Deployed

JAKARTA - A restaurant on Jalan Soka, Rawabadak Village, Koja District, North Jakarta, caught fire on Saturday afternoon.

Head of the North Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. Rahmat Kristanto when confirmed in Jakarta, Saturday, revealed that his party received a report about the fire from local residents at 12.18 WIB.

Based on the report, the North Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-Department (Sudin) carried out the initial deployment of four fire engines and 20 personnel to extinguish the blaze.

"Restaurant, low-rise building type. Now it has cooled down. In the process of extinguishing, the propagation can be localized," he said, Saturday, December 11, quoted from Antara.

His party is still carrying out the process of extinguishing the fire to ensure the fire does not spread to other building objects in the vicinity of the fire location.

"So far, eight cars have been deployed. And 24 personnel, hopefully there will be no casualties and no other buildings will hit," said Rahmat.

He added that his party could not confirm the initial suspicion of the cause of the fire.

Until this news was broadcast, firefighters were still at the location carrying out the cooling process to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.
