Mr. RT, Sabu Party With Drug Dealer In Matraman, Arrested By Buser Nyaru Becomes A Buyer

JAKARTA - AIK alias Adang (45), a RT head in the Utan Kayu area, Matraman District, East Jakarta, was arrested by members of the East Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit.

Adang was arrested with two of his friends and a dealer while in the middle of a meth party in a boarding room in the Matraman area.

"During the raid, it was found that four people in the boarding room were using drugs," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Erwin Kurniawan, Friday, December 10.

The four suspects have the initials AIK (Chairman of RT), MA, RF and GS alias Jawir (drug dealer).

The arrests began when members of the East Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit disguised themselves as buyers, against a target suspected of being a drug dealer in the Utan Kayu area, Matraman.

"The raid was carried out yesterday afternoon at around 13.00 WIB at the boarding house of the suspect suspected of acting as a dealer with the initials GS alias Jawir," he said.

From his confession, Jawir circulated crystal methamphetamine several times and was only caught this time.

The evidence confiscated by the police contained about 10 grams of methamphetamine.

"In small packages, some are worth 100 thousand and some are 400 thousand," he said.

The suspect is charged with Article 114 paragraph 1 and Article 112 paragraph 1 with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
