Police Guarantee, Positions For 44 Ex-KPK Employees Including Novel Baswedan According To Competence

JAKARTA - The National Police has prepared various positions for 44 former KPK employees who are willing to join as State Civil Apparatus (ASN). They will be placed as investigators to planners.

"There are investigators, investigators, human resources, planners, and so on. This is one that will be considered in the formation of positions within the ASN Polri," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono to reporters, Wednesday, December 8.

The position was chosen according to the expertise and interests of the former KPK employees. Moreover, they have also undergone a competency test.

"The placement of this ex-KPK employee will not come out of what is the competence of the ex-KPK employee," said Rusdi.

However, when asked about the formation of a task force for the former KPK employees, Rusdi could not confirm this. It is only emphasized that their placement will be adjusted to their competence.

"We will see the progress later. What is important is that the process has been running and the 44 former KPK employees have become Polri ASNs. Their placement will be adjusted to the competencies concerned," said Rusdi.

A total of 44 former KPK employees, including Novel Baswedan, accepted the offer to become the Bhayangkara Corps State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Meanwhile, there were 12 people who were recorded as rejecting the offer.

Of the 12 people who refused, one of them was Rasamala Aritonang. The reason for refusing to become a National Police ASN is because he has become a teacher at a university.
