When President Jokowi Purchased A Bomber Jacket With The Typical Weaving Pattern Of The Sintang Dayak

JAKARTA - When inaugurating Tebelian Airport, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan Province, Wednesday, President Joko Widodo took the time to see local MSME production which was held in a corner of the airport. As reported by Antara, Wednesday, December 8, he and the Minister of State Secretary, Pratikno , the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, Basuki Hadimuljono, the Minister of Transportation, Budi K Sumadi, and the Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji, had a chance to look at the Sintang woven fabric.

Here, Jokowi bought a bomber jacket with a typical Sintang Dayak woven motif which was dominated by red color and he immediately wore it. At first he was more interested in buying woven cloth, but the ministers and Sutarmidji persuaded him to buy a jacket. "Come on, sir, buy sir... To promote the Sintang woven fabric," said Sutarmidji. Jokowi also chose the bomber jacket. Meanwhile, Pratikno, Hadimuljono, and Sumadi bought a piece of woven cloth which was also used immediately.
