Being A Shooting Suspect At Bintaro Toll Exit, Metro Police Propam Has Not Determined Ipda OS Ethical Sanctions

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya Propam has not confirmed ethical sanctions against Ipda OS even though the status in question is already a suspect.

"Propam will look at the SOP for the use of weapons and so on whether this is right or wrong," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Tuesday, December 7.

If later there is a violation, Ipda OS will undergo an ethics trial. At that time, sanctions against Ipda OS will be determined.

"There will be disciplinary and ethical action from the police," said Zulpan.

Previously, the status of Ipda OS had been upgraded from being investigated to being a suspect in the shooting case at the Bintaro Toll Exit. This determination is based on the results of the case.

"Investigators determine or raise the status of Ipda OS in investigating this case as a suspect," said Zulpan.

In this case, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation and Propam Polda Metro Jaya believes that Ipda OS has committed a criminal offense. This is supported by the evidence and instructions that have been collected.

With the determination of this suspect, Ipda OS is paired with Article 351 and/or 359 of the Criminal Code. Thus, he faces up to 7 years in prison.
