Police Name Woman In Series Of Unrelated Shooting Cases At Bintaro Toll Exit Gate

JAKARTA - The police stated that the woman who was sent down by O was not related to the shooting case carried out by Ipda OS. Although, the confession of the victims was one of the reasons for being followed by seeing the woman.

"We have already investigated a woman. So it has nothing to do with the investigation material," said Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kombes E. Zulpan, to reporters, Tuesday, December 7.

The woman's presence, said Zulpan, was only an excuse for them to follow O, who was considered an official of the DKI Provincial Government. In fact, there is absolutely no relationship whatsoever.

"Just because this is what the stalker thinks, he sees this car with an RFJ license plate from a local government official, then drops a woman from a hotel and so on. They reason to do an investigation by following along," said Zulpan.

Previously, the police stated that the series of shootings at the Bintaro Toll Exit began with the investigation process. This is because the shooting victim is said to be a journalist.

"They followed O's car, while the reason for taking their confession was to carry out an investigation," said Zulpan.

The reason the victim followed was because O was driving using a car with a number plate coded for a government official. Moreover, O is said to have stopped by a hotel in the Sentul area, West Java, which raised suspicions.

"They saw the vehicle used by O with an RFJ plate. So this is a local government official because it is a plate for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," said Zulpan.

In fact, based on the testimony of the survivors, O had dropped a woman. Thus, their suspicions grew stronger.

"They saw brother O drop a woman from the hotel so they followed," Zulpan said.
