JAKARTA - The theft of motorbikes has occurred again at Jalan Howitzer, No. 25, RT 07/06, Sumur Batu Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Victim Haris (43), a resident of Kemayoran, lost his motorbike which was parked in front of his house

The victim only realized that his motorbike was missing when he was about to leave for Fajr prayer at the mosque.

"I then reported to the head of RT 007 and checked the CCTV footage," said the victim, when confirmed by reporters, Monday, December 6.

The theft was caught on CCTV surveillance cameras. Then uploaded by one of the accounts on Instagram. In the CCTV camera footage around the location, it was seen that two men were caught on camera at around 00:46 WIB.

One of the perpetrators was recorded pushing Haris' Beat motorbike with plate number B 3727 PFC.

"The perpetrators numbered two people, pulling back the stolen motorbike. When it reached the corner, only then could the perpetrator turn his motorbike and take it towards the highway," he said.

According to witnesses near his house, there were actually three perpetrators. One person waited in front of the alley while the other two carried out the theft.

Haris hopes that the police will immediately arrest the perpetrators who are troubling residents in the neighborhood. This is because thefts are common.

In addition to the theft of motorbikes, residents of RT 007 often have their wallets and cellphones stolen by thieves.

"In RT 08 and RT 10 behind the alley of my house, motorcycle thefts have often occurred," he said.
