Dozens Of People Pass The Written Test Of Candidates For KPU-Bawaslu 2022-2027 Members, 8 Of Them Are Incumbents

JAKARTA - The Selection Team for KPU and Bawaslu Member Candidates for the 2022-2027 period has carried out the stages of written tests, paper writing, and psychological tests for prospective KPU-Bawaslu members.

Written tests, paper writing, and psychological tests were carried out on 24-25 November 2021 at JIEXPO, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

As a result, there were 28 registrants for KPU members and 20 candidates for Bawaslu members who passed. The Chairperson of the Election Team for Candidates for the 2022-2027 KPU-Bawaslu Jury Ardiantoro said the dozens of people would continue the selection process to the psychological test stage.

"A total of 48 prospective candidates who have passed, namely 28 KPU and 20 Bawaslu. Furthermore, for prospective candidates who are declared to have passed, are entitled to take part in the selection stage, namely the advanced psychological test stage or group dynamics on December 9 to 11, 2021 in Jakarta," said the Jury in a virtual press conference, Friday, December 3.

After that, it was followed by a medical test which was carried out from 26 to 30 December 2021 at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta.

"Then, interviews will be held for candidates for Bawaslu members on December 26 to 27, 2021, then the prospective KPU members will be on December 28 to 30, 2021," said the jury.

Based on the list of names that passed the written test, paper writing, and psychological tests, there are a number of names of KPU and Bawaslu members who are still active, namely the 2017-2022 period. These incumbents re-register for the next term.

Active KPU members who returned to participate in the selection included Hasyim Asy'ari, I Dewa Kade Wiarsa Raka Sandi, Ilham Saputra, and Viryan. Meanwhile, Bawaslu members include Abhan, Muhammad Afifudin, Fritz Edward Siregar, and Rahmat Bagja.
