Situbondo Police Members Disrespectful Fired For Cases Of Fraud, Persecution And Drugs

SITUBONDO - A member of the Situbondo Police, East Java, Bripka Indra Sugiarto was dishonorably dismissed from the unit where he served. Many violations were committed by Bripka Indra Sugiarto.

Among them are refusal of duty or desertion for 331 days, being involved in criminal cases of fraud, persecution, and drug cases.

The dismissal was carried out through an ethics trial, led by the Deputy Chief of the Situbondo Police, Kompol Pujiarto, Wednesday 1 December.

The Head of Propam for the Situbondo Police, Ipda Harsono, said that the dismissed officer also had 8 statements on disciplinary punishment (KHD).

"The case only revolves around the same case, namely criminal acts of fraud, persecution and drugs," he said, Thursday, December 2.

According to him, the formal elements in the Bripka Indra case have been fulfilled. So the head of the ethics commission quickly and firmly decided that this Bripka Indra deserved to be fired from the police unit.

"Because the formal elements have been fulfilled, in the third code of ethics trial, the head of the ethics commission immediately fired Bripka Indra. Meanwhile, the PDTH (Disrespectful Dismissal) ceremony according to the SOP is still waiting for the National Police Chief," said Ipda Harsono.

Meanwhile, general criminal cases, such as cases of fraud and abuse, have been fully submitted to the Situbondo Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"For general cases, we leave it entirely to the Criminal Investigation Division, while for internal ones it is our business as Propam," he said.
