Remember, ASN In Jakarta Also Cannot Take Christmas And New Year Holidays

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has prohibited State Civil Apparatus (ASN) from taking leave and traveling outside the area during the Christmas and New Year holidays. This ban will start from December 20, 2021, until January 2, 2022.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Maria Qibtia has issued Circular Letters (SE) Number 79 and SE 45 of 2021, Wednesday December 1. DKI Jakarta BKD has also announced information on the ban on leave through social media channels @bkddkijakarta.

In the DKI BKD social media account, it is clearly stated that SE Number 79 of 2021 prohibits ASN from taking leave and traveling outside the region during the Christmas and New Year period from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.

While SE 45 of 2021 states that ASN is prohibited from taking leave and traveling outside the region on the same week as national holidays both before and after so that state servants are prohibited from taking leave and traveling outside the region starting December 20, 2021.

The prohibition of leave is excluded for ASN who is on maternity leave or sick leave or leave for important reasons.

Then, ASN who live and work in agencies located in one agglomeration area.

Meanwhile, ASN who are forced to travel outside the region must obtain written approval from the regional apparatus.

The ban on leave and travel outside the region for ASN in DKI follows up on the Circular Letter of the Minister for Empowerment of State Civil Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Number 26 of 2021.

The SE regulates the limitation of travel activities outside the region and/or sabbatical leave for ASN employees during the Christmas and New Year 2022 periods during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the SE Menpan RB, disciplinary penalties are regulated for ASN who violate the provisions of Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Discipline of Civil Servants and Government Regulation Number 49 of 2018 concerning Management of Government Employees with Work Agreements.

In PP 94 of 2021, it is explained the level of disciplinary punishment ranging from light, moderate and severe disciplinary penalties. For light disciplinary punishment, it consists of an oral warning, a written warning, and a written statement of dissatisfaction. One of the light disciplinary penalties is imposed if they violate the policies set by government officials.
