To Deepen The Role Of Paulus Tannos In E-KTP Corruption, KPK Examines A Number Of Witnesses, Including Wahyudin Bagenda

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to summon a number of witnesses to explore the role of the President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra, Paulus Tannos who is a suspect in the alleged corruption in the procurement of e-KTP.

One of the witnesses summoned was the Director of Technology and Information of BPJS Kesehatan as well as the former President Director of PT LEN Industri, Wahyudin Bagenda. He will be examined as a witness related to this alleged corruption.

"The investigative team has scheduled the examination of witnesses for the suspect PlS (Paulus Tannos)," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters, Wednesday, November 1.

Not only Wahyudin, there are a number of other names that will be examined. They are private parties from PT Cahaya Mulia Energi, namely Pauline Tannos and Rini Winarta.

In addition, Ali said, investigators also scheduled an examination of the former President Director of the Republic of Indonesia Perum Percetakan Negara (PNRI) Isnu Edhi Wijaya. In this case, the KPK has named him a suspect but has not made any arrests.

"The Investigative Team has also scheduled the examination of the suspect IEW, the former President Director of PNRI as a suspect," said Ali.

For information, this corruption case in the procurement of e-KTP has cost the state up to Rp. 2.3 trillion when referring to the report from the Supreme Audit Agency. This case dragged the names of a number of high-ranking officials in the ministry, such as the former Director General of Dukcapil Irman and a former official at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sugiharto.

In addition, there are also the names of the former chairman of the DPR RI Setya Novanto, former member of Commission III DPR RI Fraction Hanura Miryam S Haryani, former member of Commission III DPR RI Markus Nari.

Then in August 2019, the KPK named four new suspects in this case. They are former DPR member Miryam S Hariyani; President Director of Perum PNRI who is also Chairman of the PNRI Consortium, Isnu Edhi Wijaya; Head of the Information Technology Technical Team for the Application of Electronic Identity Cards, Husni Fahmi; and President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra, Paulus Tannos.

The KPK said that the company led by Tannos, PT Sandipala Arthapura, was suspected of enriching up to Rp145.85 billion from this project.
