'What Are They?', Dudung Abdurachman Gets Angry When He Finds Out That The Central Jakarta Satpol PP Has Been Visited By FPI Asking To Install Billboards That Have Been Removed

JAKARTA - This is the story of Dudung Abdurachman when he was still Pangdam Jaya when he faced FPI members in the action to reduce billboards. Dudung's action and firm attitude at that time reaped a lot of praise.

Dudung, who is now the Army Chief of Staff, opened up about the detailed story when he was a guest on Youtuber Deddy Corbuzier's podcast, as seen by the editor, Tuesday, November 30.

Of the many billboards that were successfully taken down and stored at the Kodam Jaya Headquarters, Dudung was surprised because many contained invitations to jihad and moral revolution.

"There are also billboards that are worshiped," said Dudung, who now holds the rank of General.

Dudung admitted that he had watched and studied videos about Rizieq Shihab's speeches that called President Joko Widodo with bad words. Sitting was hot to hear that.

"How dare he say our leaders, our president with words that are not good as citizens, change the name of our president with an incorrect name, my blood boils like that, it's hot," he explained.

At that time, the soldiers helped the Satpol PP and the police to take action on the billboards because they were considered very disturbing.

The action, explained Dudung, has also been reported by the Kapolda Metro Jaya and the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

"Kapolda also conveyed to the governor because it is already disturbing," he said.

Dudung also revealed that after removing 338 billboards, the North Jakarta Satpol PP Office was visited by FPI and they asked for the billboards to be re-installed.

"I was told to install again at 11 pm, right. Who are they? There I said the state must be present, if this is allowed to be dangerous, the state is present," explained Dudung.

"It was Pol PP who was afraid, they came with machetes, why don't we just keep quiet," added Dudung.
