Arya Sprays Ahok 'Commissioner Of The CEO's Feelings,' Said Didu: Wrong, Ahok Acts Like The Minister Of SOEs

JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Arya Sinulingga, gave a warning to the President Commissioner (Komut) of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok.

Arya reminded Ahok not to act beyond his capacity as the company's commissioner. This follows Ahok's statement that many BUMN business contracts have harmed state-owned companies, including Pertamina.

"Don't let Pak Ahok at Pertamina become a commissioner and feel like a director. Komut doesn't feel like a director. You have to know the limits," he told reporters, quoted on Monday, November 29.

Arya's warning to Ahok was welcomed by the former secretary of the Ministry of SOEs, Muhammad Said Didu. It's just that, according to Said Didu, Arya is wrong to think of Ahok as the President Director of Pertamina.

"According to my observations, it seems that Bung @AryaSinulingga is wrong," said Said Didu via his Twitter account, @msaid_didu quoted Monday, November 29.

"Ahok is no longer acting like the president director but acting like the SOE Minister," said Said Didu.

According to Arya, the problems that Ahok expressed have been the concern of the Ministry of SOEs for a long time. In fact, Erick Thohir has warned that projects at state-owned companies do not become a source of corruption and that cooperation between SOEs can provide mutual benefits.

"What he said has long been said by Mr. Erick Thohir, starting with the issue that these projects should not become a source of corruption, that SOEs are state-owned companies.
