Special Flats For ASN Ministry Of Finance Built In Papua, 3 Floors And Can Accommodate 176 People

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has started to build flats for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) in Papua Province, with a development budget of Rp. 25.5 billion.

"We continue to encourage the construction of flats for ASN. The existence of these flats can encourage the spirit and performance of state servants in serving the community while optimizing the use of existing land," said Director General of Housing at the PUPR Ministry, Khalawi Abdul Hamid, in a press release in Jakarta, Friday 26 November.

The construction of the ASN Flats at the Ministry of Finance of the Papua Province is planned to be built in the upcoming 2022 Fiscal Year. Specifications This flat is built one tower as high as three floors with 36 residential units. There are 44 units with a total capacity of 176 people.

In addition to assistance in the form of physical construction of buildings and their utilities, the Ministry of PUPR will also provide building support facilities in the form of furniture consisting of bunk beds and wardrobes and dining tables and chairs.

The flats will later be equipped with electricity connections and clean water facilities as well as Facilities and Utilities Infrastructure (PSU) so that the building is ready to be used.

"The construction of these flats is financed by APBN funds for Fiscal Year 2022 through the DIPA of the Papua Province Housing Provision Work Unit worth Rp. 25.5 billion," he said.

Furthermore, Khalawi explained, the fulfillment of the people's basic right to a place to live is stated in the 1945 Constitution that everyone has the right to live and get a good living environment.

This, according to him, is expected to form a solid foundation of the nation.

"The government has an absolute obligation to provide guarantees to the community in meeting housing needs which are realized through the One Million Houses Program. We also hope that the construction of the ASN Flats of the Ministry of Finance of the Papua Province can improve the quality of life and encourage the improvement of the performance of ASN in making a positive contribution to the achievement of the President's mission is to build an advanced Indonesia," he said.
