TERNATE - The Provincial Government of North Maluku (Malut) has set the 2022 Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) at IDR 2,862,231, an increase of 5.17 percent from the previous year of IDR 2,721. 530.

This was determined based on the Decree of the Governor of North Maluku, Number 409/KPTS/MU/2021 dated November 17, 2021.

The Governor's decision, in addition to implementing Government Regulation (PP) Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages, also considers recommendations from the North Maluku Provincial Wage Council (Depeprov).

Ridwan said the determination of the North Sumatra Province UMP took into account the Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower Number BM/283/HI:01.00/XI/2021, concerning Submission of Economic and Employment Data in Determining the North Maluku Province Minimum Wage in 2022.
