Rizky Billar Reports 8 Medsos Accounts That Defame To Threaten

JAKARTA - Artist Rizky Billar reported more than 8 social media accounts to Polda Metro Jaya. The report relates to allegations of defamation.

"What is certain is that there are more than eight accounts," said Rizky Billar's lawyer, Sandy Arifin, to reporters, Tuesday, November 23.

But Sandy did not elaborate on the reported accounts. He only mentioned that in the report his party had included several pieces of evidence, one of which was a screenshot

"The next process is we are just waiting for a call from the investigators to provide further information," he said.

Meanwhile, Rizky Billar said the reported accounts were not only considered libelous. There is an account called Rizky Billar spreading threats.

"Yes, one of them is like that (a threat)," said Rizky Billar.

According to Rizky Billar, the threats carried out by these accounts have been going on for the last three months. He was reprimanded but threats were still made via social media.

"Some of my accounts were politely reprimanded, but there were those who challenged and deactivated their accounts," short Rizky Billar.

For that reason, Rizky Billar decided to make a police report (LP). The report was registered with the number LP/B/5855/XI/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, Date: 23 November 2021. The reported party in this case was reported under Article 27 paragraph 4 Juncto Article 5 paragraph 4 of the ITE Law regarding threats through social media .
