MEDAN - Motorcycle gangs make trouble at the Pasar XII soccer field, Marindal II Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The group's actions were caught on CCTV when a suspected member of the group attacked a house with a sharp weapon.

Video footage of the attack was later uploaded and went viral on social media. The attack took place, Sunday, November 21 in the morning.

Knowing the incident, the Anti Bandit Criminal Investigation Unit team at the Patumbak Police immediately moved. As a result, 2 people were arrested.

The two arrested perpetrators are RSS (18) and AP (18). Both were arrested at the soccer field on Jalan Balai Desa, Marindal II Village, Patumbak District.

"From the location, one sharp object made of iron with a pointed end with an iron handle was about 30 cm long," said Head of the Patumbak Police, Kompol Faidir Chaniago, in his statement, Monday, November 22.

Kompol Faidir explained that the arrest began when his party received information from the public that there had been a commotion at the Pasar XII football field, Marindal II Village between a group of teenagers carrying machetes and sharp weapons.

"We have secured 2 people, namely RSS and AP, we suspect they are members of a motorcycle gang who were caught carrying sharp weapons," continued Kompol Faidir.

From the results of the interrogation, both said that the sharp weapon was brought because a colleague of theirs with the initials W had been hit with a group of people using a stick.

"W admitted that he had been hit with a stick, then RSS said let's see, who knows, your friends know the perpetrator who hit you. Then spontaneously W handed over a sharp weapon to RSS as a precaution because the perpetrator was carrying a wooden block," he explained.

Then, RSS met the alleged perpetrator who was gathered at the soccer field. But suddenly, RSS and his friends ran to save themselves.

"The two people suspected of being a motorcycle gang were taken to the Patumbak Police Station for further processing," said Commissioner Faidir.
