More Horrified, Victim Of Begal In Cakung Tells The Seconds Perpetrator Removes Two Machetes At Flyover Buaran, Duren Sawit

JAKARTA - Ridwan Hanafi, a motorcyclist is suspected of being the victim of a robbery when crossing the Buaran Flyover, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim was robbed on his way home.

"There were three perpetrators, carrying two machetes. Riding an old Mio motorbike," said the victim who was lying in the hospital, Monday, November 22.

After slashing the victim, the perpetrator then took the victim's motorbike and laptop away.

"What is missing is a motorbike, laptop and wallet. The laptop is in the trunk of the motorbike," said Ridwan.

The victim was registered as a Cakung resident, he was undergoing treatment at Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital, East Jakarta.

"Initially, he wanted to go home and was stuck on the flyover, the reason he asked for a cellphone. The laptop was in the trunk of the motorbike," he said.

According to the victim's statement, the perpetrator was riding a motorbike with three people. The perpetrators approached when the victim crossed the Buaran flyover with his motorbike.

The three perpetrators grabbed the victim, two of the perpetrators got off the motorbike and took out machetes and asked for the victim's cellphone.

"At first (the perpetrator asked) for a cellphone, I just didn't give it. I got off the motorbike, both of them took out machetes," said the victim.

The perpetrator immediately swung a sharp weapon at the victim's body, causing injuries to the hands. After the victim fell, the perpetrator immediately took the victim's motorbike away.

"The one waiting on the motorbike, when I fought the one who brought the motorbike, he said just take the motorbike. I forgot to pull the key," he said.

Until now, the case is still being handled by the Duren Sawit Police. The perpetrator is under investigation.
