Anita Kolopaking Key Witness Reveals Brigjen Prasetyo's Game

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri will dig up all information from Anita Kolopaking related to the case of issuance of a pass in the name of Djoko Tjandra which was issued by Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo while serving as Head of the Coordination and Supervision Bureau (Karo Korwas) PPNS Bareskrim Polri.

This is because Anita is the key witness in this case. Karo Penmas, the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said that Anita Kolopaking's statement could open the possibility of involvement of other parties. Including the matter of the relationship between Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo and Djoko Tjandra.

"ADK (Anita Dewi Kolopaking) is key because so far the relationship between Djoko Tjandra and BJP PU (Brig. Gen. Prasetyo Utomo) is all through ADK," Awi told reporters, Friday, August 7.

So, he said, investigators would carry out an in-depth examination of Anita. As for Anita, today was examined as a suspect in this case.

"For today, we will finish everything regarding what role ADK has played in the case of fake letters involving BJP PU," said Awi.

However, he did not want to comment on whether Anita would be arrested today. This is because the detention is a subjective assessment of the investigator.

"Regarding detention, of course, everything falls under the investigators' authority. What will be the results after being examined as a suspect, whether detained or not, we fully submit to the investigator," said Awi.

Meanwhile, Anita Kolopaking has been named a suspect in the alleged fake travel document issued by Police Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo for her client, Djoko Tjandra.

In determining the suspect, Anita Kolopaking was charged with Article 263 (2) and Article 223 of the Criminal Code.

In this case, investigators have confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, including fake travel documents and COVID-19 examination documents on behalf of Djoko Tjandra.
