Gangsters Of Gangsters Perpetrators Of Slashing In Sukabumi Arrested

SUKABUMI - Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Sukabumi City Police, West Java, arrested a gang of gangsters who were suspected of stabbing a young man on Jalan Aminta Azmali.

"The arrest of the gang member was after we received a report of a case of abuse on Jalan Aminta Azmali, Sriwedari Village, Gunungpuyuh District, Sukabumi City on Sunday (14/11) at around 02.00 WIB. " said Head of Public Relations Iptu Astuti to reporters quoted by Antara, Friday, November 19.

According to the information gathered, this gangster whose members are still teenagers often makes residents of Sukabumi City restless. Even before carrying out the act of persecution, the group had a chance to take a group photo while brandishing various types of sharp weapons ranging from machetes, samurai, large saws, sickles, and others.

After going around on a motorbike while spreading threats to anyone in front of him. A group of youths, one of whom was a victim, was disturbed by the gang's action and threw stones at them while crossing Jalan Aminta Azmali.

According to Astuti, after the throwing, two gangsters complained to eight colleagues who happened to be staying at a colleague's house not far from the location where the shooting took place.

Not accepting the victim and his partner's actions, the main suspect with the initials PA (19) and seven colleagues returned to the location with various sharp weapons to attack the victim.

It turned out that when he arrived at the location, the surrounding community, one of which was a victim, were already prepared to anticipate the next attack from the gang. The suspect and his partner were about to attack so the residents immediately fought back.

Unfortunately, one of the residents was stabbed in the back by the suspect PA. Seeing that the victim was helpless and the residents' frustration had peaked, the suspect and seven of his colleagues fled on a motorbike.

The police who received the report immediately gave chase and it only took three hours for the suspect and his partner to be apprehended. In this case the police arrested eight members of the gangster and only one person has been named a suspect while the other seven are still being investigated.

"From the hands of the alleged perpetrator, we confiscated evidence of a sharp weapon of the type of sickle that the suspect allegedly used to slash his victim. PA is charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code on Persecution with a maximum imprisonment of five years," he said.
