JAKARTA - A Viar motorbike with police number B 6771 JAE experienced an electrical short circuit and caught fire on Jalan Palm Raja Barat, precisely at the Perum Citra 3 intersection, Pegadungan, Kalideres, West Jakarta.

According to Bhabinkamtibmas of Kalideres Police, Aiptu Wagito, the Viar motorcycle caught fire when it was repaired by the motorcycle owner while in the middle of the road. Suddenly there was a spark that ignited fire.

When it happened, Aiptu Wagito was conducting a regional visit patrol. As soon as he saw the motorbike on fire, he immediately approached and looked for a fire extinguisher from a nearby resident's house.

"Alhamdulillah, the incident can be handled immediately and the fire did not spread to other parts of the motorcycle," he said when confirmed, Friday, November 18.
