Investigators Are Still Examining Witnesses And Waiting For The Results Of The Forensic Lab For The Collapse Of SMAN 96 West Jakarta

JAKARTA - West Jakarta Metro Police Crime Chief AKP Fahmi Fiandri explained that the collapse of the West Jakarta SMAN 96 construction project has been handled by the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) of the National Police Headquarters to find the cause.

"Labfor has checked the building," he told reporters, Friday, November 19.

The collapsed SMAN 96 West Jakarta building is known to be in the process of being built. As a result of this incident, as many as four building project workers were injured.

Until now, AKP Fahmi is still examining a number of witnesses. He is also still gathering other witnesses for additional information.

"We have examined witnesses related to the collapsed building accident," he said.

Previously reported, Head of the Operational Section (Kasiop) of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. Suket said that the cause of the collapse of the building construction was suspected to be an error in the construction process.

"The four victims named Adi, Ferdi, Purwadi and Miskat are construction workers. They have been taken to the Cengkareng Hospital. For the victims there is no information hidden from the contractor," he said.
