JAKARTA – The emergence of a number of cobras in residential areas is like a terror that threatens human life. A number of reports regarding the appearance of the dangerous snake are often received by the Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept.

After several reports, this time the cobra was again found in one of the residents' houses in Ciracas, East Jakarta. East Jakarta Gulkarmat rushed to the location to evacuate the snake.

"There is a report requesting the evacuation of snakes on Jalan Bridal Ali, Center for Community Development of the Ministry of Villages, No. 71, RT 008/06, Ciracas Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta," said Head of the Operations Section (Kasiop) of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman. , Thursday 18 November.

Gatot mobilized 4 Rescue personnel to evacuate the snake reported by the community. Arriving at the location, Gulkarmat officers found the presence of a cobra at the location.

"The snake was successfully evacuated using tools from the garden side of the office. The snake is 15 cm in diameter and 1.5 meters long," he said.

Gatot said, the discovery of this cobra was first seen by an office employee in a courtyard.

"The employee was surprised to see there was a snake in the garden yard. The employee then went to the 518.1 fire department to report the snake's discovery. We immediately evacuated it," said Gatot.
