Banten Regional Police Searched The Lebak BPN Office, Police Confiscated 5 Envelopes Filled With Money Related To Alleged Bribery

LEBAK – For 5 hours Banten Police officers conducted a search at the Lebak BPN office. The investigation is related to the alleged bribery case by an unscrupulous BPN employee.

Wadireskrimsus Banten Police AKBP Hendi Febrianto directly led the search activities carried out by investigators from the Sub-Directorate III-Tipikor of the Banten Police Ditreskrimsus.

"Today we conducted a search at the BPN Office, the search began at 10:00 WIB and lasted for more than 5 hours," said Hendi Febrianto in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, November 17.

Hendi explained that at the beginning of the search, the investigator conveyed the purpose of the activity by showing a search permit from the court and a search warrant.

"Investigators searched 5 rooms at the BPN office, including the head office," added Hendi Febrianto.

There were several documents confiscated by investigators with indications related to the investigation of corruption in the mode of illegal levies with the suspects RD and PR.

"In addition, investigators also found 5 envelopes containing money which were then confiscated for further investigation by the Ditreskrimsus investigators," he said.

Hendi also conveyed that the search was witnessed by the suspect RD and several officials at the Lebak BPN Office which was then stated in a report signed by the investigator, suspect and witnesses who participated in the search.
