BANJARMASIN - The South Kalimantan Police have deployed a team of precision policewomen to educate the public on health protocols (prokes) and social services for distributing basic necessities to the community during the 2021 Diamond Zebra Operation.

"Because it prioritizes sympathetic and humane action, the Precise Policewomen Team is tasked with increasing patrols to visit the community," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Kamsel Ditlantas Polda South Kalimantan Police Commissioner Dese Yulianti in Banjarmasin quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 16.

During the 14 days of the Zebra Operation, starting from Monday, November 15, to November 28, 2021, the Precision Policewomen Team patrolled to greet the public or road users.

Masks and food packages became ammunition that the heroes of the South Kalimantan Police Ditlantas carried every time they took to the streets.

"So our targets are rickshaw drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers and even walking through residential areas distributing masks and basic necessities directly from door to door," said Dese.

The Presisi Polwan Team formed by the Traffic Director of the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol. Maesa Soegriwo, gave a soothing impression to the people who were visited while on patrol.

Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, the patrol prioritizes social services by distributing food packages while reminding the public of the importance of health promotion.

During Operation Zebra 2021, the Presisi Polwan Team patrolled every day to create "kamseltibcarlantas" replacing the abolished raids by prioritizing preemptive, preventive, and humanist persuasive efforts.
