JAKARTA - Evaluation of the implementation of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in the Java-Bali and Outside Java-Bali areas continues to be carried out every week, although the PPKM period this time still continues until November 22.

Several indicators of the pandemic have consistently improved from the previous week, but there has been a slight increase in terms of effective case reproduction rates in several islands.

Based on data as of November 14, 2021, the number of Active Cases was 9,018 cases or 0.2 percent of the total cases, and this is much better than the global average of 7.4 percent. When compared to peak conditions on July 24, 2021, the percentage has dropped -98.43 percent.

The average daily confirmed cases (7DMA) is 384 cases with a downward trend, data as of November 14 is 399 cases, or has decreased -99.4 percent from the peak situation on July 15, 2021.

Nationally, the percentage of the recovery rate (RR) is 96.41 percent, the case fatality rate (CFR) is 3.38 percent, with a decrease in the total active cases of -97.59 percent.

"The potential for an increase in cases, although small, will continue to be monitored and monitored by the government," said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto at a press conference, Monday, November 15.

According to Airlangga, the decrease in the number of active COVID-19 cases on November 14, 2021 in areas outside Java and Bali Island reached 89-98 percent compared to the peak period on August 6, 2021.

"Overall, compared to the peak, it fell between 89-98 percent," said Airlangga.

Specifically for areas outside Java-Bali, the number of active cases reached 48.1 percent of the total national active cases. If broken down by island, continued Airlangga, the total recovery rate of patients on the island of Sumatra reached 96.17 percent, and the death rate (fatality rate) was 3.58 percent.

For the Nusa Tenggara region, the recovery rate reached 97.47 percent and the death rate reached 2.35 percent. While on the island of Borneo, the cure rate is 96.75 percent and the death rate is 3.17 percent.

Then on the island of Sulawesi, the cure rate reached 97.2 percent and the death rate was 2.63 percent. Meanwhile, in Maluku-Papua, the recovery rate is 95.97 percent and the death rate is 1.7 percent.

Based on the evaluation of the COVID-19 pandemic conditions until November 14, 2021, Airlangga said, there are no provinces that run PPKM level four and level three. Meanwhile, 25 provinces are at level two and two are at level one.

“Then from the regency/city, there is no PPKM level four. Then for level three there are five regencies/cities, 207 regencies/cities at level two, and 174 regencies/cities at level one," said Airlangga.
