Ministry Of Agriculture ASN In Uniform For NasDem Kostranas Photo With Syahrul Yasin-Surya Paloh, DPR Leader Reminds Code Of Ethics

JAKARTA - The leadership of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) has responded to the uproar about photos of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) wearing uniforms, typical of the NasDem Party's Strategic Command or Kostranas uniform.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad reminded the ASN code of ethics regarding Ministry of Agriculture officials in the NasDem Kostranas uniform. He said an ASN must maintain integrity.

"We don't want to assume or think badly, but we just remind them that ASN has a code of ethics regarding ASN. So we have to maintain our integrity as an ASN as well as possible. That's all," said Dasco at the DPR Building, Tuesday, November 16. .

Even so, the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party was reluctant to say whether or not it was natural for ASN to take pictures in party uniforms.

"We are not in the capacity to say that it is right or wrong, whether it is allowed or not because there is an institution that will judge. Whether it is then right or wrong," said Dasco.

Dasco also refused to comment on whether or not there were sanctions for the ASN. He handed over to the relevant institutions that oversee the ASN.

"I don't want to respond to that. That's why there is an agency that oversees it," he said.

Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture's ASN was seen wearing the NasDem Kostranas shirt taking pictures with Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo and NasDem Head of State Surya Paloh in the photos displayed on Commission IV of the DPR.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture has expressed his apologies in the meeting with his partners.

"Ladies and gentlemen, there is no other purpose, I apologize if this is not pleasing to you, ladies and gentlemen, but actually in our hearts we are still in the efforts of bureaucrats, bureaucrats... but because of this we respect we use that attribute," he said.

Members of Commission IV of the DPR responded by expressing their appreciation for the Ministry of Agriculture's apology regarding the ASN dressed in the NasDem Kostranas. However, Commission IV of the DPR RI reminded ASN not to be involved in politics.

Kostranas itself is currently led by the Minister of Agriculture, who is also NasDem elite Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
