Highway Patrol Unit (PJR) Ditlantas Banten Police inspects WSP Serang – Panimbang Toll Gate

JAKARTA - In preparation for President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) working visit, the Highway Patrol Unit (PJR) of the Banten Police Traffic Unit conducted a lane survey on the WSP Serang - Panimbang Toll Road Phase I.

The 26.5 km long Serang-Rangkasbitung toll road section 1 has received an operation-worthy certification from the Director General of Highways on November 12, 2021 and is planned to be inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the near future.

Banten Police Traffic Director (Dirlantas) Kombes Pol Rudy Purnomo through the Head of PJR Ditlantas Banten Police Kompol Kamarul Wahyudi, said that the Sat PJR Ditlantas Banten Police carried out a route survey for state protocol VVIP activities on the Serang - Panimbang Toll Phase I, using motorized vehicles.

"The PJR Ditlantas Unit of the Banten Police carries out a Path Survey for the VVIP State Protocol activities on the Serang - Panimbang Phase I Toll Road using motorized vehicles, so that activities will run safely, orderly and smoothly," said Kompol Kamarul, through a statement received by VOI, Monday. 15 November.

"This travel route survey is a preliminary procedure to find out the main travel route and alternative routes," he continued.

"The decision on the route to be taken is based on the survey results from PJR personnel, taking into account the road situation (traffic flow density), the number of bends, and road conditions that will affect the safety of the object being escorted and the distance traveled," concluded Kamarul.
