Residents' Testimony, Two Teens Who Died And Were Critical During A Brawl In Cakung Turns Out The Victim Was The Wrong Target

JAKARTA - A teenager who died in a brawl in Rawa Badung Village, Jatinegara Village, Cakung, East Jakarta turned out to be the victim of the wrong target. This was revealed by Yus Aritonang, a local resident.

According to Yus, the two DTH victims and one who is still critical were not involved in the brawl.

"This child doesn't know anything. These people are affected by the brawl," he told reporters, Monday, November 15.

Yus said that DTH suffered severe injuries to his arm due to a sharp weapon stab.

"Deep stab wounds, hit the bone, there are about 5 centimeters wide (the wound)," he said.

Yus added that the stab wound was so severe that DTH bleeds out so that his life could not be saved.

"He ran out of blood. We saw that he was also put in an intravenous drip and couldn't go in because the blood had run out," he said.

DTH's body was buried at Pondok Ranggon Public Cemetery (TPU), East Jakarta, Monday 15 November.

As for the injured victims, said Yus, they had stab wounds to the back and stomach. He is currently being treated at Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital.

Meanwhile, according to Firman's mother, Rosalina, her son was one of the eyewitnesses of the incident. Firman is a friend of a DTH victim and a victim who is still being treated. The two victims were friends of his son. Rosalina emphasized that the two victims were not involved in the brawl.

"Not (involved). Ordinary people. Coincidentally want to go home, after work," he told reporters, Monday, November 15.

Rosalina further explained that the two victims and Firman were indeed a group of friends. At the time of the incident, when they came home from work, on their motorbikes they passed around the location of the brawl.

Firman was told to hide by residents when the clashes occurred. But unfortunately, when Firman hid and looked back at the location, he saw DTH and another colleague lying down.

"In front of them there was a brawl, they didn't know, then my son saved himself, there were already firecrackers or something like that," he said.

"When the (brawl) subsided, there were no perpetrators at all, my son (Firman) went up (look) there. Now, my son's friend had fallen. One motorbike was both (a victim)," he said. .

Firman and local residents brought DTH to RSIA Resti Mulya while the injured were rushed to Pondok Kopi Hospital.

"Well then he was appointed to the Resti Mulya Hospital, until there the victim had no life (died). One was taken to the Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital," he said.

Because of that, continued Rosalina, Firman finally became one of the witnesses questioned by the police.

Rosalina also admitted that she did not know which group of youths involved in the brawl came from.

"No one knows (from where)," he said.

Previously, it was reported that two groups of teenagers were involved in a brawl in Rawa Badung Village, Jatinegara Village, Cakung, East Jakarta. As a result of the brawl, one teenager died after his body was stuck with a sharp weapon, while another was in critical condition.

Ironically, the brawlers actually recorded the violent scene using their cell phones. Seen, the action of attacking each other using sharp weapons and firecrackers took place fiercely.

The brawl was known through a video that was widely distributed in WhatsApp groups. The video was later accepted by the media crew.

In the video, a number of youths are seen carrying long sickles and then running to attack their opponents.

Several youths threw firecrackers. The brawl occurred until the T-junction of PIK Milling Street.
