Reisa said the international scale events would be carried out with strict procedures. He gave an example at the IBF event, every crew involved, including the athletes, will be tested by PCR both in the country of origin, upon arrival in Indonesia, or after being isolated for three days.

"They've been tested by PCR since leaving, and tested PCR again here. But to ensure their health, at every match, athletes and crew will be tested for antigen and when all activities are finished they will also be tested for antigen again," he explained.

Although it may seem like a hassle, the COVID-19 tracking test needs to be done many times to make sure everyone involved in IBF is free of the virus. This needs to be done as a new habit to keep Indonesia free from the virus and ready to host international events again.

In addition, all parties related to IBF 2021 have also prepared the infrastructure, technical flow, and supervision so that the event can run well. The government and the committee have also made official guidelines for the implementation of IBF in Bali so that they are free from the spread of COVID-19.

"This has been made and ratified as a reference for the implementation of the health program rules at the location. This can be followed by international events that will be held next," he added.

Reisa said that the IBF will involve 256 of the world's best badminton athletes from 22 countries. In the event, referees from 11 countries will also come to host three tournaments.

"The condition for organizing the IBF event is that everyone involved, both participants, guests, and team crew must have been fully vaccinated. International participants still have to go through a three-day quarantine and must download the Care Protect application, so if you enter the match venue, you have to do a scan.
