A Woman in the Depok Apartment Was Allegedly Killed by a Hammer

JAKARTA - The police are investigating the case of the death of a woman with the initials AO (36) at the Margonda Residence 5 apartment, Depok.  AO was tied and killed. She allegedly hit by a hammer.

"(Robbery motive). We are still investigating indications and other motives as well," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Depok Police, Kompol Wadi Sabani, to reporters, Wednesday, August 5.

The victim, who was known to be a resident of Beji, Depok, suffered a blunt blow to the head. When they came to the scene on the evening of Tuesday, August 4, the police found a hammer.

"There is a hammer. it was probably used to hit the victim," said Wadi.

The discovery of the woman's body was reported by the apartment manager on August 4 evening. The deceased woman was found tied up and her mouth was covered with duct tape.

"After investigating the crime scene, we found that there were signs of violence," said Wadi.
