SERANG KOTA – After conducting a month-long investigation, the Serang City Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) managed to apprehend the perpetrator of the theft of valuables belonging to a journalist in Serang, Banten.

Head of Public Relations of Serang City Police, Iptu Iwan Sumantri, said that the arrest of the perpetrator with the initials ES (34), a resident of Banten Girang Village, Serang District, Serang City, started with the arrest of three stolen goods collectors, namely MS (27) and RL, residents of Gembor Village, District of Serang. Binuang. Meanwhile, the other actor, AA (32), is a resident of Baros Village, Baros District, Serang Regency.

"An arrest has been made, the perpetrator with the initials ES is a resident of Banten Girang Village," said Head of Public Relations of Serang City Police Iptu Iwan Sumantri, Monday, November 15.

From the statements of the three perpetrators, the police got the identity of the mastermind of the theft. Armed with information, the Serang City Police Satreskrim team moved to the residence of the perpetrator of the theft and managed to arrest him.

"For the evidence that was secured there was a motorcycle, a drone and two cellphones belonging to the victim," said Iwan.

The four perpetrators have been designated as suspects by investigators. For the perpetrators of detention, the three were charged with Article 480 of the Criminal Code and the perpetrators of theft of Article 363 of the Criminal Code.

"The four suspects are currently still undergoing examination at the Serang City Police Headquarters," said Iwan.

Previously reported, the residence of Rizky Ganis Pribadi in Cimuncang Village, Serang District, Serang City, was ambushed by thieves, on Sunday 10 October in the morning.

The perpetrator is known to have entered Ganis' residence through an unlocked gate. He then headed to the second floor and entered Ganis' room which was also unlocked.
