COVID-19 Update As Of November 13: 359 New Cases, Accumulated 4,250,516

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 266,975 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 359 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,250,516 people and 9,197 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, November 13.

Today's recovered cases increased by 451 cases, bringing the total to 4,097,675 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 16 people and a total of 143,644 people.

The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 54 cases and a total of 862,697 cases. Followed by West Java which has 49 new cases with a total of 706,849 cases. East Java has 49 new cases and a total of 398,896 cases. Then, Central Java has 42 new cases and a total of 485,799 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 97 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 67 recovered cases, East Java with an increase of 50 recovered cases, and DI Yogyakarta with an increase of 34 recovered cases.

There are four provinces that reported no new cases today, namely Jambi, South Sumatra, Riau Islands, and West Sulawesi. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 49,905,837.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.24 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 4,872 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently there are 129,710,190 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 83,418,086 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 1,184,370. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
