COVID-19 Update As Of November 12: 399 New Cases, 9,305 Active Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 259,817 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 399 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,250,157 people and 9,305 active cases", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Friday, November 12.

Today's recovered cases increased by 560 cases, bringing the total to 4,097,224 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 20 people and a total of 143,628 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 71 cases and a total of 862,643 cases. Followed by West Java which has 60 new cases with a total of 706,800 cases. Central Java has 47 new cases and a total of 485,757 cases. Then, East Java has 33 new cases and a total of 398,847 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 187 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 80 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 44 recovered cases, and Central Java with an additional 42 recovered cases.

Three provinces reported no new cases today, namely Jambi, North Kalimantan, and Southeast Sulawesi.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 5,436 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently, 129,089,388 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 82,818,492 the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 1,180,000. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
