Nature That Was Killed By Crocodiles Finally Found After Two Days Of Searching

TARAKAN - A fisherman named Alam (27), a resident of Mambirdan Village, Tarakan was found dead due to being attacked by a crocodile in the waters of Mangkudulis, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara).

The victim was found by the Tarakan Search and Rescue Office (SAR) team, Thursday, November 11.

"At around 15.13 WITA, the joint SAR team managed to find the victim in a dead condition," said Head of the Search and Rescue Office (Kansar) Tarakan Amiruddin represented by Head of Ops Dede Heriana as reported by Antara.

The victim Alam was found on the second day of the search operation in a dead condition at a radius of 8 NM with a heading of 97 degrees to the east of the location of the case.

"Furthermore, the victim was immediately evacuated to the Tarakan City Fishing Port to be handed over to the victim's family," said Dede.

During the search operation, the weather conditions for the wind direction are east with wind speeds of 4 to 10 knots and wave heights of 0.25 to 0.5 knots.

Previously, the Tarakan SAR Office received a report from Hariyanto, who is the victim's uncle, on Wednesday, November 10 at around 08.35 WITA regarding the loss of Nature.
