ACEH - The Aceh Jaya District Health Office stated that currently there are three health centers in the district that lack the Sinovac type of COVID-19 vaccine following increasing public interest in carrying out vaccinations.

Head of Surveillance and Immunization of the Aceh Jaya District Health Office, Cut Nazimah said, currently there are three health centers that are experiencing a vacancy for the Sinovac vaccine, namely Teunom, Pasie Raya and Indra Jaya Health Centers, while the Moderna type is still available.

"Currently, we really lack the Sinovac vaccine, until yesterday we only had 468 doses of the Sinovac type spread over five other sub-districts apart from the empty ones, while the number of Moderna was 952 doses," said Cut Nazimah in Calang, Aceh. .

Cut Nazimah added that until now the number of people who have implemented the first dose of vaccine is 25,536 or 36 percent, the second dose is 9,822 or 13 percent, while the third dose is 773 or 73 percent.

"Until now, we hold on to the first dose, which is 36 percent who have been vaccinated," he said.

He said that currently the public's interest in vaccinating has increased, but the current obstacle is the lack of vaccine doses, especially Sinovac.

"Currently, we have proposed the addition of the Sinovac vaccine to the Aceh Provincial Health Office," he said.
