AMBON - The Maluku Prosecutor's Office Investigative Team searched the office of the Regional Secretary of West Seram Regency (SSB) to look for evidence in the alleged corruption case of the SBB Secretariat's direct expenditure budget for Fiscal Year 2016.

According to him, this step was taken by the prosecutor in connection with the progress of the investigation into the alleged corruption case at the SBB Regional Secretariat for Fiscal Year 2016 which allegedly caused regional financial losses of Rp. 8.6 billion based on the LHP of the Maluku Province Inspectorate.

The search was carried out by the Maluku Prosecutor's Office Investigators at the Regional Secretariat and Finance Section of the SBB Regency Government at around 14.30 WIT.

"The search process is carried out in each room for about one hour, while still implementing health protocols," said Wahyudi.

During the search, investigators confiscated several documents related to the case. The search was carried out with the support of security forces from the Maluku Regional Police and the SBB Resort Police.

Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary of SBB Mansur Tuharea has now been detained by the prosecutor and has been placed in the Ambon Class II A Detention Center since Wednesday, November 10, along with four other suspects with the initials RT, AP, AN, and UH.
