Minister Jokowi's Response Is Busy In Socializing Towards The Presidential Election, Sufmi Dasco Says On The Track Does Not Break The Rules

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, assessed that so far there are no rules that have been violated by the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, although recently they have been seen to be diligent in socializing with the community.

According to him, as long as the main tasks in the cabinet are still being carried out properly, then the socialization is not a problem.

This was said by Dasco in response to a minister who was said to be busy socializing towards the 2024 presidential election.

"So far, we have seen that what the ministers have done is in a reasonable stage and is still on track in carrying out their duties," said Dasco at the DPR Building, Wednesday, November 10.

According to Dasco, until now there has been no minister whose performance has been disrupted because it is included in the 2024 presidential candidate market.

"For the ministers in particular, I think up to now it is in a reasonable stage and has not interfered with the performance of the ministers," said the Gerindra Daily Chair.

Moreover, continued Dasco, there are no rules either from President Jokowi or the election organizers, namely the KPU which the ministers violated just because they did socialization.

"Actually, in the statutory provisions of the KPU and the president himself, there is no prohibition for ministerial candidates to socialize the presidential election," concluded Dasco.
