Inaugurating Nutritional Gardens In Semarang, Head Of BKKBN Hopes To Reduce Stunting Rates There

JAKARTA - Head of BKKBN Hasto Wardoyo together with the Minister of PPPA, Mrs. Bintang Puspayoga had the opportunity to inaugurate a Nutrition Garden that can be exploited at the Nusa Indah Nutrition House, Banyumanik, Semarang City, Tuesday, November 9.

Hasto hopes that with this Nutrition Garden, it can help fulfill the nutritional needs of the surrounding community, especially Nusa Indah Srondol Wetan, Banyumanik, Semarang City.

"As we know, adequate nutrition is an effective way to prevent stunting. That way, along with the functioning of the Nutrition House and the Nutrition Garden, it can reduce the stunting rate in the Banyumanik area, Semarang City, Central Java," he said. in a statement received by VOI, Tuesday, November 9.

He added, the Nutrition Garden in this place is developing well according to the fulfillment of the nutrients needed by the community as a source of health for our bodies.

"I also immediately did the harvest at the Nutrition Garden, Nusa Indah, Srondol Wetan, Banyumanik, Semarang City," he said.

In addition, he also saw firsthand the Intervention Handling program for Stunting Children at Rumah Pelangi. He thanked the program for getting support from local officials.

"Thanks to the Deputy Mayor of Semarang, Semarang City Health Office, Head of Disdalduk KB, Semarang City Agriculture Service, Semarang City Fisheries Service who have realized supporting programs to eradicate stunting in Indonesia, especially the Semarang City area," he said.
