The Gate Mode Is Locked Even Though The Singing Is Crowded Inside, 17 Karaoke Places In Kudus Are Sealed

KUDUS - The Kudus Regency Civil Service Unit, Central Java, together with the TNI and Polri have sealed 17 karaoke businesses that are still desperate to operate because Regional Regulation Number 10/2015 prohibits the existence of karaoke entertainment venues.

Attending the sealing of the karaoke venue on Monday, were the Regent of Kudus Hartopo, the Head of the Kudus Police AKBP Aditya Surya Dharma, and the Commander of Kodim 0722/Kudus Letkol Kav. Indarto.

According to the Regent of Kudus Hartopo, they were previously warned that their efforts had violated the local regulation.

"Of the 17 karaoke places that were targeted for sealing and closing, the most were in Jati District," he said.

In fact, when the joint team found the location of an operating karaoke place, it turned out that the gate was locked. In fact, in it there is karaoke activity.

Therefore, his party will take stricter action by removing the electrical connection in addition to sealing it.

The head of the Satpol PP Kudus Kholid said that the total number of karaoke places that were sealed were spread across several sub-districts, including South Ring Road, Pasuruan Lor Village, Jati District, Kudus, there were five karaoke places that were sealed by a joint team.

Previously, he said, a number of karaoke places had also been brought under control. However, he said, they are still desperate to operate.

In fact, the Regional Regulation Number 10/2015 clearly prohibits the existence of karaoke entertainment venues and there is no reason not to know the rules because the rules have been in effect since 5 years ago.

According to him, there are still those who dare to open it secretly even though previously some karaoke places have had their electricity connection removed and their karaoke equipment confiscated.

In Chapter II Article 2 it is explained that private persons or entities are prohibited from conducting entertainment business activities in discotheques, nightclubs, pubs, and karaoke businesses in Kudus. The threat of violating the provisions of Article 2 is a maximum imprisonment of 3 months or a maximum fine of Rp. 50 million.
