JAKARTA - The police have completed their investigation of Rachel Vennya regarding the case of escaping from quarantine at Wisma Atlet Pademangan after returning from abroad. Rachel Vennya is being questioned today as a suspect.

Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat, said the examination this time was to complete Rachel Vennya's investigation file. The goal is that Rachel's file can be immediately transferred to the prosecutor's office.

"Yes, so that they can be sent to the Prosecutor's Office first," he told reporters, Monday, November 8.

In this examination, said Tubagus, there is a clear difference. Where, in the previous examination, Rachel Vennya was still a witness.

However, Tubagus did not elaborate on the questions asked by the investigators. However, he said, today Rachel was being questioned in her capacity as a suspect.

"What is being dug up now is the capacity as a suspect's statement," said Tubagus.

According to him, Rachel when she was a witness was given the opportunity to clarify. Now, when he became a suspect on suspicion of violating the Health Quarantine Act and the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, investigators again asked for Rachel's statement.

"Yesterday, he was given the opportunity to clarify, and it's true. The facts are being poured out now," he continued. Rachel Vennya was questioned as a suspect for 4 hours. The examination started at 10.19 WIB and finished at 14.22 WIB.

Meanwhile, Rachel Vennya was named a suspect for the action of escaping from Wisma Atlet Pademangan. This determination is based on the results of the case.

In this case, there are three other people who are also named as suspects. They are Salim Nauderer and Maulida who are lovers and managers of Rachel Vennya.

Then, another suspect with the initials OP who is a protocol officer at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
