BPBD: 13 RTs In Penjaringan Subdistrict, Jakut Affected By Rob

JAKARTA - The Center for Data and Information of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta Province stated that 13 Neighborhood Units (RT) in Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta, were affected by the tidal flood or coastal flooding.

Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Data and Information Center, M Insaf, said that the tidal flood or the overflow of the coast of Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta reached a height of 50 cm, but there was no data on residents who had evacuated.

"Officers in the field, namely, continue to handle the condition of the overflowing tidal sea so that it recedes quickly," he said, quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 7.

The field officers include Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling officers (PPSU), BPBD Rapid Response Team, officers from the Water Resources Service, Satpol PP, Disaster Preparedness Officers, and officers from the Fire and Rescue Service (PKP).

In Penjaringan Village, there are two RTs affected by the tidal wave, one of which is at the Nizam Zachman Ocean Fisheries Port, Muara Baru, North Jakarta.

From the video circulating, it appears that water from the sea overflowed into the road reaching 40 cm at the Muara Baru Fishery Port, causing a number of motorized vehicles to be disturbed when passing.

At around 17.20 WIB, a number of roads on Jalan Kerapu, in front of the Fish Market Pump House, Penjaringan Subdistrict, had receded from the inundation.

Meanwhile, in Pluit Village, Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta, the area affected by the tidal wave reached 11 RTs with a height of 50 cm.
