Hotline For Complaints From Naughty Polantas Polda Metro Jaya Receives 300 Reports

JAKARTA - The hotline for complaints from rogue traffic police from the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya at 081298911911, has received about 300 reports on the second day of its launch. But most of these reports occurred outside the Jadetabek area.

"There have been many, almost 300, but the reports have varied. Some have reported but the incident occurred in Bogor, so it is outside the area of the Polda Metro Jaya," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Argo Wiyono, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 5 .

Argo said that out of around 300 reports, only 50 were under the authority of the Polda Metro Jaya. However, Argo has not provided further information. what is reported to the hotline.

Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, opened a complaint hotline for the public to report naughty traffic police (polantas) and are detrimental to the community.

"We opened a 'hotline' line considering the behavior of some naughty police officers, extortion, and so on. So starting today, we will open a hotline number 081298911911," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, Thursday, November 4. .

The hotline was opened in the aftermath of the case of a traffic police officer who asked for a sack of onions in exchange for a ticket to a truck driver in the Tangerang area.

Sambodo said that the public could access the hotline with the WhatsApp application by including photo and video evidence so that naughty police officers could be dealt with immediately.

"Report the naughty traffic police in the SIM, STNK and BPKB services as well as in terms of taking action on the road. Illegal levies on the road, extortion and so on, please report it to this number," he said.
